Shane’s Gives Back to our Veterans

Throughout the month of November, Participating Shane’s locations donated and served full catered meals across the country in honor of the nation’s military service men and women. We came together as a brand and reached out to the Veterans in our local communities to express our gratitude and appreciation for their service. 

Our Monroe, Ga Shack provided a full-service lunch for the Veterans and their families at the Family Warrior Weekend at Camp Twin Lakes. We were thankful to be a part of the weekend retreat that provided military families with the opportunity to receive onsite counseling, take part in fun activities, and enjoyed some delicious BBQ!

Our Brown Bridge Shack came together and provided a catered meal for The Oaks at Ashley Hills Veteran residents. Our Brown Bridge Manager, Tammy’s heart skipped a beat after running into longtime customer Tater. The Brown Bridge Shack crew enjoyed visiting with Tater and the many other Veterans and loved hearing their stories and experiences from their time of service.

Our Spartanburg, SC Shack had the opportunity to march in the Veterans Parade. Afterwards, our Spartanburg Shack Crew provided dinner to all the members and their families of the American Legion Post 28. We are thankful for their service, today and every day!

Our Milledgeville, Ga Shack provided a full-service catering to 80 Veterans at the Georgia War Veterans Home. We were able to sit and listen to the Veterans stories of service. We were grateful to be able to spend the day with them and thank each of them for their sacrifice and patriotism.
